大阪を拠点に活動するバンダナ専門家のジョナサン・ルカセックが立ち上げた One Ear Brand
カスタムメイドの生地を使用した片耳バンダナは、完全に日本製で、京都の着物を作る工場で一度に 1 つずつ印刷されるため、毎回のロットでわずかに異なります。
彼らは素晴らしいエコバッグ、フェイスマスク、スカーフ、風呂敷 、ヘッドラップなどを作ります. バンダナをキャンバスに、日系アメリカ人のユリカ・チェリセ・シカイというアーティストがそれぞれの作品を描いています。

このバンダナは、当初からやりたいと思っていた作品です。私たちはここでサボテンが大好きで、子供の頃や最近何度も南西部の砂漠を旅するうちに、サボテンの形や素晴らしさに魅了されるようになったのです。サグアロの形は、メサと同じように景観を決定づけます。この形への憧れとともに、ペヨーテサボテン（Lophophora williamsii）への好奇心も湧いてきました。Hikuriの文化に精通している私たちは、この作品にふさわしい名前を付けました。
私たちは、南西部の道端の土産物のようなグラフィックと、道中の「旅」をミックスしたものを作りたかったのです。ハンター・S・トンプソンの小説に出てきそうなバンダナと、カール・レディンの絵画のような色調。デヴィッド・リンチのキャラクターが身に着けそうなもの......。

Started by Osaka based Bandana connoisseur, Jonathan Lukacek, the One Ear Brand aims to be much more than just a bandana brand. Using custom made fabrics, One Ear Bandanas are made entirely in Japan, printed one at a time meaning that each is slightly different from the last. Inspired by the big “Turkey Red” bandanas of the 1800’s, these bandanas are designed for more than just accenting an outfit; they make great Eco-Bags, Face Masks, Scarves, Furoshiki (Traditional Japanese Wrapping Cloths), Head Wraps and much more. With the Bandana as her canvas each piece is drawn by one artist, Japanese- American- Yurika Cherise Shikai.

This bandanna was a piece we have wanted to do since the start. We love cacti here, and through many childhood and recent trips to the desert of the Southwest we became enamored with cacti shape and splendor. The shape of the saguaro defines the landscape as much as the mesa. Along with this adoration for this shape is our curiosity of the peyote cactus. Being somewhat familiar with Hikuri culture, we appropriately named this piece…
We wanted to create a sort of Southwest roadside souvenir graphic mixed with a road “trip”. A bandanna that might be mentioned in a Hunter S Thompson novel, with a color palette from a Carl Redin painting. Something that a David Lynch character might wear…
